Randix, a little confusing reply that I sent you...I have two credit cards registered but only able to put one on my profile.

I am in NWA & Delta programs, with different cards in each. Practically every month I visit one place 2X, and receive credit in both NWA & Delta without a problem.

Another iDine question: I understand that multiple visits to the same restaurant in one month usually means you only get AA credit for the first visit.
How about if you visit different locations of the same restaurant?

I have visited multiple locations of the same restaurants and gotten miles I am sure if listed individually on the website or in the book they are considered as being separate entitys.

To reiterate. Each FF IDine registration is considered a separate account, and can officially have 3 CC attached to them (sometimes they will put in 4 if you ask them). If you use any of the linked card attached to one program, officially only the first visit counts. You can do this with each FF program you belong - linking a different credit card. Now remember anyone with an AMEX card can get secondary cards - and each of those cards has a DIFFERENT number, so you don't have to open new credit cards - your spouse for example can be linked to one of YOUR accounts, or hers as the case may be. It's certainly a great way to visit restaurants extra times, or use a card to extend the life of miles in programs you don't do much else in - or to raise an amount to get a ticket or to raise an amount to get a minimum transfer. For example, UA recently had a doubles IDine to certain restaurants for a few months. I used a credit card attached to my daughter's UA account, and ate out enough to bring her total to 10K so that I could transfer them to DC. At the AA Idine program you can go to their web-site and see if your restaurants have posted. I think that is true for UA as well. I do not know why, but for some reason my account seems to be set up like the old Transmedia (it was a originally) and when I go to the web-site it says unlimited visits on most restaurants and I have discovered accidentally that I do get miles for more than the first visit. I am VERY happy about this, and wish that this was how the program was set up. I really don't understand why it is the first visit with miles but unlimited up to $600 for the Cash back.
