Looking over the Idine list, I don't see any places that are destinations -- just places that are good if you happen to be in the neighborhood.
With that in mind, your best bets are 21st Amendment (down by the ballpark), Citizen Cake (Hayes Valley, near the opera house), and Eastside West (in Cow Hollow). Of those, Eastside West is the only one where you can spend a significant amount of money.
I've heard positive things about Ramblas, the tapas bar in the Mission, but I've never eaten there.

For some reason, there are several great sushi places on Idine. Blowfish (trendy but great fish) in Potrero, Sushi Day (great food, more low-key atmosphere) and Mas Sake (rock 'n roll sushi) in the Marina, Kitaro (no atmosphere, but great food and moderately priced) in the Richmond and Hamono (pricey but good quality) in Noe Valley are all worth a visit.
Other than that, Mangiafuoco is a good neighborhood Italian in Noe and Julie's Supper Club is a fun place in SOMA. And if you're out on the town, a couple clubs, Ruby Skye and Glas Kat are both fun.
Happy eating and drinking!

For a very quick lunch and miles top-up, I'm partial to Baja Fresh on Fremont St. at Market. It's tough to spend over $10 per person, but they did participate in the United 20 miles per dollar promo earlier this year (and they don't seem to mind charging $7 on my Amex).
