"Challenge" to get from UAL M.P. Silver to Gold?
I'm wondering which airlines (AA did in the past, not sure if they still do) offer a challenge to fly X miles in a certain period of time to gain premier status or upgrade to the next level. I'd like to do it on United.

AA does still offer the Challenge for both Gold and Platinum status, but not for the top-tier EXP status.
UA does not offer any type of challenge. For more details, I'd suggest asking on the UA board.
