does anyone have experience in transferring goldpoints to AA?

thanks

I transferred 2K -&gt; 500 miles to get a partner for the AA 20/20 promotion. One phone call, took a few weeks, no problems.

My account is set up for the automatic conversion. GoldPoints come out on Sunday (2,000) and miles go into AA account on following Thursday (500).

Great stuff!! Just did over $3K worth of magazine shopping. Hopefully it will convert into a few nice first class trips...

fireflyreaction and other Canadian residents,

I've been browsing the selection of Valuemags and saw a magazine called "L'ACTUALITE ". Yahoo search revealed it to be a Canadian-Quebec magazine. Is it pretty good? I'd like to brush up on my French (if I have time to break away from all the other magazines I've ordered).
</font>
Mais oui... it's a news magazine, similar to MacClean. You can say it is the French version of that magazine, from the same publisher. In USA, it's similar to Newsweek.

You should enjoy it. But they do focus more on French Canadian news... business, politics, travel, etc.

It was the reading assigned in my French class

What happens if I started out with Goldpoints from TGI Fridays and then signed up with Radisson?

I spoke with a goldpoints rep today. She said it is rumoured that tomorrow may be the last day for 450 points per dollar from Valuemag. No other info available.

I'm not sure that valuemags will appreciate being called "bonified" but they'll probably take "bona fide" as a compliment.

can anyone confirm getting extra points with valuemags using the "milesmags" 15% off coupon? i.e., got 4500 goldpoints for a $10 purchase that ended up costing $8.50 after the coupon?

cheers

i *hate* rumours.

however, to be hypocritical, i will inform everyone of this rumour and ask if anyone else is familiar with this:

there is a rumour that the valuemags promo is going to prematurely end on the 20th.
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum91/HTML/000146.html

i'm looking into it right now
cheers
