I believe that Netcentives, the company behind ClickRewards, is no more.

I walk once in a while at Brannan at 3rd in San Francisco. They proud sign Netcentives.com is still out there, but no one is in - it is an empty shell. The whole neighborhood is a very sad picture, every other building carries “For Lease” sign, some new office developments are still being completed, but it will be years before they’d get any tenants. This is where “New Economy” was born and here it had died - a very sad picture indeed.
Don’t kid yourself – not in our lifetime we will see hundreds upon hundreds of businesses opened for the whole purpose of giving away the money (or to “grab a market share”). But… we’ve seen the history in the making.
