still waiting

I walk once in a while at Brannan at 3rd in San Francisco. They proud sign Netcentives.com is still out there, but no one is in - it is an empty shell. The whole neighborhood is a very sad picture, every other building carries “For Lease� sign, some new office developments are still being completed, but it will be years before they’d get any tenants. This is where “New Economy� was born and here it had died - a very sad picture indeed.
Don’t kid yourself – not in our lifetime we will see hundreds upon hundreds of businesses opened for the whole purpose of giving away the money (or to “grab a market share�). But… we’ve seen the history in the making.
