PLEASE HELP
Is there any way that I can transfer miles from someone's united account to mine, with their consent of course. Could I transfer the miles to a hotel program and then into my account? Please post with any ideas ASAP.

United's rule expressly prohibit miles from being transferred from one account to another.
I also believe the airlines and hotels ensure that the name on the accounts involved are the same...
The possible exception is Hilton and husband/wife/same household. I believe that they make an exception for merging accounts in those cases.

I do believe Hilton and British Airways are the only travel companies that allow the pooling of certain family member miles/points.

You may get additional comments in the United board, where this posting actually belongs. Thanks.
