Until recently you could have ordered $266 of mags through Valumags and gotten the 10,000 miles (150 pts per dollar for 40,000 pts, exchanged by Radison at 4-1 for the 10K.)
Or you can still order $500 worth of books at 75 pts per dollar.

I'm hearing of a pretty good promo coming up that will beat all of these deals for earning miles/points so stay tuned and don't make any rash decisions.

Randy,
Come on tell us more -- I missed the big Magazine promo --- but from what I read here - those that got on the tail end had the rules change on them and didn't get the miles they thought they would.

Any idea when this will occur? What a/l or hotel partners will be involved?

If Randy doesn't give us some kind of hint, forthwith, I'm gonna' go ahead and start multiple threads-- right now, in advance, about how unhappy I am with actions of the new, as-yet-unnamed company offering said promo-- and how mad I am that the points haven't posted to my account yet.
Well Randy? Your move...

2 questions for Randy
1) Will want to keep this a secret from my wife?
2) Will I need to raise my credit limit?
I the answer to #2 is yes then #1 is also a YES.
FWIW - I couldn't bring myself to tell her about the magazines - so I didn't do it? She can't see the bottom line as well as the rest of us obsessed people.
