Lifetime status questions

Do *A flights that are codeshared as SQ count toward lifetime status on SQ, and what are the requirements for status?

Also, figure I'll throw this in, does Kempinski Private Concierge include suite upgrades in its T&C?

Thanks for any and all info!

Are there any indications on what CX's requirements are now that it's "invitation only"?

SQ's lifetime status is Lifetime Solitaire PPS. Need 1000 PPS sectors or 1.8 million PPS miles. Only flights in business and first on SQ and MI (Silkair) count, plus SQ codeshares on other airlines (not that there are many) also in business and first.

Thanks!

Just did more searching (very slow internet at my hotel ) and saw CX has basically stopped offering lifetime status.

OK I see about Solitaire and lifetime. Solitaire is 500K miles, and lifetime is 1.875M, only business/first on SQ or MI. So with 125% and 150% bonuses, you really only need 1.5M in business or 1.25M in first.

After I burn what I have now, I think I'll start with CX and UA + SQ.

Another question >

Does status with Qatar/Gulf/Emirates get you upgrades/op-ups/etc?

So it is like Hyatt, that's what I presumed.

I wonder why Starwood is the only program to have both no capacity control / blackout dates and suite upgrades in the top tier T&C (other than IC RA also having suite upgrades in T&C)

Thanks again for the answers!

As far as I know, Shangri-la does not have capacity controls although they state that blackout dates "may apply", what ever that means.
