Just did more searching (very slow internet at my hotel

) and saw CX has basically stopped offering lifetime status.

OK I see about Solitaire and lifetime. Solitaire is 500K miles, and lifetime is 1.875M, only business/first on SQ or MI. So with 125% and 150% bonuses, you really only need 1.5M in business or 1.25M in first.

After I burn what I have now, I think I'll start with CX and UA + SQ.

Does status with Qatar/Gulf/Emirates get you upgrades/op-ups/etc?
