Miles for Refinance
Hi guys!
I am getting my mortgage re-financed from a 3/1ARM to 10 years fixed - 30 years if the rate makes sense.
Is anybody aware of any mileage earning opportunities - I am currently getting a rate of 6.125 for 30 years with NO closing costs and NO out of pocket poeriod. Is there any airline mileage affiliated bank that you guys are aware of that could match the rate?
FYI - I live in the Alameda County,CA - feel free to PM me if you'd like.
Your help, as always, is greatly appreciated.
Thansk!!

As to the miles, I don't think there are any particularly good deals out there for miles right now. Last year was a different story as a search of FlyerTalk will show.
As to the rate you mentioned, I have to wonder if it is legit. No lender can offer a refi rate really lower than the going rate, and yours looks a bit too low. Perhaps the lender is going to try to bump you just before closing?
