ClickMiles in Chapter 11

Dear xxx,

You may have read that Netcentives Inc., the company that operates the ClickRewards, ClickRewards@Work and Nortel Networks PRIDE programs, has recently filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. Because you currently hold a point balance of xxx ClickMiles, you are considered a creditor and therefore are receiving this notice.

If you are in agreement with the point balance shown in the first paragraph of this message, you do not need to take any action, as the court will notify you when events occur during the bankruptcy case that require your participation.

If you have a dispute with the amount of points shown, you will need to complete a proof of claim. To access this form, including instructions on how to complete and submit the form, click here to download the PDF file. ( http://p02.com/u.d?PEVhAhv_-0AeE=11 )

Please note that you are receiving this message at the request of the court. Any discrepancies or clarifications pertaining to the bankruptcy or the claim process will need to be addressed directly with the court. Please do not respond to this email, as Netcentives Customer Service is not able to assist you with legal matters. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your participation in the program.

Sincerely,

Netcentives

Also received the email.
The Clickrewards website doesnt even mention it, nor does it stop one from purchasing or redeeming points.
Should I try to redeem the rest of the balance?

The Chapter 11 press release may not be on the Clickrewards website, however, it is on the parent company website, Netcentives.com

YES, what have you got to lose except your clickrewards points?

Thank you for your patience!

Requested points transferred to DL ff acct 9 weeks ago. They haven't posted (altho' same day request to transfer points to CO ff acct posted immediately.) I suppose I can kiss those pts/DL miles goodbye. FWIW, email inquiry 2 weeks ago resulted in corporate gobbledygook.

The worst management I have run into in a long time. I spoke to them about 2 years ago when it took them 1 year to resolve a point / miles problem. They are not good people in my opinion.

I'm sorry to see them go. It was a terriffic avenue for extra miles and points.

Still though, with the triple promotion and the WWF promotion, that boon of tens of thousands of points for many who were in the know last year will always be remembered fondly.

Well I had some points pending from a recent purchase and they just credited them to me with no mention of the BK. What is up with that. I think it is fraud to not tell people you are BK right on the home page.

Has anyone had luck redeeming since the announcement was made? I've tried multiple times, and am having no luck.

I've had many problems with Delta redemptions. Since every other program has posted quickly, I suspect it may be a Delta issue. I've been waiting for miles to post since August and received the same gobbledygook. Told to write again when it had been six weeks and told to include the FF number. Had done the latter, and late October is well over six weeks. Received another "we'll look into it" message.

Received an e-mail from CLickRewards yesterday about my redemption to Starwood on 10/11. They said to allow up to 12 weeks now for the points to post because of "internal events".
