Cash gift card?

Normally I give cash to my doormen at XMas. What are the alternatives in which I can get miles / points in place of cash? I prefer cash gift card, don't want to give them any specific stores' gift cards.
Thanks.

Get them a Starbuck's gift card-almost everyone drinks that expensive habit nowadays. I don't know if AMEX gives you miles, but get them a American Express gift card or a Dining Gift Certificate card. They have to go out to eat once in awhile!

When my wife was living in New York for a couple months for work, we gave him $100 for all his work because he was so nice to us.

There are Visa Buxx cards (and some MC equivalent):

Otherwise you can try GiftCertificates.com SuperCertificates (essentially a GC for GC.com). With that you earn your CC miles and you can earn miles/cash back through various airlines/Ebates/FatWallet. I believe there's a small fee if you want a paper SuperCert but the electronic ones are free (with free shipping on the redemption).

You can get Northwest Airlines miles for buying certificates from giftcertificates.com

They might have partnerships at other airlines at well.

The supercertificates can be cashed in for a huge number of places.

a friend reminded me to buy the home depot gift card on the AA shopping site and you get double miles for that. This means if you spent $100 on your CC for a card, you could get 200 miles for the pruchase! Makes a good gift to anyone and not only did I see no restrictions on buying GCs for these miles, you can get them in any denomination. I just chose a hundred for one for myself though.
