PayAnythingOnline.com

Has anyone used payanythingonline.com? I tried doing a search and didn't find anything on it. The site allows people to pay anything including rent with their credit cards. There may be a small fee involved, Im not sure, but for the miles on big ticket items, it's worth it in my opinion. I'd love to hear about anyone's experiences with it.

Thanks!

2.89% service fee; about what you can by miles direct from airlines, except here you would have no quantity limitations.

For a J award seat US-Europe that averages 80K miles, your hard cost using this website service would be $2320 plus tax, not too shabby.

For a J award seat US-Asia that averages 100K miles, your hard cost using this website service would be $2890 plus tax, not so bad either.

I actually reserached this concept about a year ago, but couldn't get a any merchant vendor companies to bite. Congrats to the gent who made this fly!

Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

I need to get around looking more into this.

Pretty good and a good business model for the site owner as the credit card processing fees may fall as they hit higher volumes.

(If award space is available: ) $1734 for JFK-LHR-JFK or LHR-DEL-LHR in Business on BA.

Edit: ... they don't take Amex? (Without the AMEX SPG points, it might be a bit more.)

I would only find it worth it if the fees went down. Earning miles/points is great...but I'm not going to tack that much extra onto my bills each month.

What payment methods can I use to pay my bills?

You can pay your online bills using a checking or money-market account, or major credit cards where accepted by the biller.

I called and talked with "Mike" out there. He told me the only restrictions were you could not pay yourself (called that a cash advance) and that you couldn't pay to an individual, it needed to be a company. I asked about the scenario where you are paying rent to an individual home/apartment owner, he told me they would work with you on that to get the individual into the system as a company.

I wonder how much success they have in convincing others to join the system. Id like to pay the down payment on a condo with a credit card, but not sure if they'd agree to it. Although, it's not worth it to me if they don't take AMEX (double miles on everything this month!!).

Hmmm, I wonder if Visa will step in and shut this down? Visa is not too big on 3rd party billing
