Yup. There was an easy way to accumulate asiamiles which unfortunately is ending very soon. I have been using Ebay anything points card and converting the points via points.com to asiamiles with about 12% bonus. And you can always send your starpoints to asiamiles. I love asiamiles because they have very very attractive redemption rates on BA.

The best way to earn Asia Miles is now by transfering Starpoints.

50K of spending on the SPG Amex = BA transatlantic J ticket return
75K of spending on SPG Amex for BA First.

You can also credit all your AA and AS domestic tickets to Asia Miles - BA and other internationally, earn Asia Miles from hotel stays, dining, and car rentals.

My best advice understanding their program is carefully study their website.

I have made several long posts concerning AsiaMiles in Milesbuzz over the past year. While the EAP program is no longer an earning source you may find my posts helpful.

I may not be reading your post right. Are you asking how to accumulate Asia Miles other than flying CX?

Lin 821: to be really honest I was just not familiar with this program and somehow due to my fault the search did not work.
The most helpful post by wanaflyforless was excellent. Also sending wanafly PM.

AsiaMiles is a great program in that it (1) offers some favorable redemption rates, e.g. business class from the Eastern US to most parts of Europe on BA for 60k miles (2) allows you to upgrade on a variety of carriers.

It was great when you could earn AsiaMiles with Priceline bids via eBay Anything Points and Points.com. Imagine roughly 38 succesful bids you were making anyway (for yourself and others) yielding a free business class ticket to Europe.

There are also some downside quirks to the program, like expiring miles.
