Yes, Amex Platinum or Centurion are reasonable choices, both for high limits and also flexibility. They would be excellent but for the limitations of MR customer service!

My vote is for the DL Amex Platinum card. There is no cap and you will get double miles for certain purchases. This includes any DL tickets, the US Post Office and some cell phone companies which would be charged through your business. Plus you get the signing bonus and spending miles bonuses mentioned by FTraveler.

The WorldPerks Visa card which earns you 1 NW WorldPerks Mile per $1 spent offers no mileage cap if you sign up for AutoPay (automatic deduction of your statment balance from your checking account) to be done by the 6th day after your statment cycles. Otherwise, there is a cap, unless you have Elite status with NW. Check it out at www.usbank.com or www.nwa.com.

I currently have the Chase CO Visa card and there is no limit (mileage cap) on the Platinum card. They recently upgraded my Platinum card to a "Signature card" and still there is no cap. I am happy with the CO card.

Watch Chase very closely. They apparently have done a grand screw-up of sign-on bonuses: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum20/HTML/002782.html

CIBC Aeroplan Visa card has no limit and typically a 5,000 mile sign up bonus. Can only be redeemed for Air Canada miles = Flights on * Alliance.

Better still you get 1 mile per Canadian Dollar spent.

I have both a CIBC Aeroplan Gold Visa and UA FirstBank Platinum... I 'thought' I was ahead of the game with my CIBC, as I was earning 50% more miles, but it wasn't worth the horrible "exchange rate" when you pay in U.S. $$$. I figure I could have actually paid for 2 airline tickets on what they charged me over a year!
