I am Exec Platinum on AA and quickly nearing 2 million miles. I have asked Aadvantage what the policy will be if there is a strike (or god forbid the mess of the last pilot and attendant strike and blue flu). The response I got was their is no policy. I hate to give up my mileage perks but United offered their mid level status (with verification of a current mileage statement). Has anyone had experience with the last strikes and sickouts to know if Aadvantage will give a little leeway at the end of the year for missed miles? Thanks
