Catfight between NW and HP!
At least that's my theory. ANC-PHX is down to $178.80 on NW. Is NW trying to send a not so subtle message to HP by flying so cheaply into their hub?
The routing is ANC-MSP-PHX and will result in 7,560 base miles per r/t. That works out to $0.023 cents per status mile!
Does it ever get any cheaper? :-)

PHX-ANC isn't the only killer fare, how about $138 RT between PHX and BOS or NYC, or $108 to CMH, there's bound to be more out there.

The PHX-ANC deal was there the last time I looked, but the PHX-NYC/BOS deal evaporated, as these deals often do.
