T.G.I. Friday's

I believe that I read on here one time, that T.G.I. Friday's is associated with obtaining points for frequent flier miles. Is this correct? If so, how does one go bout signing up for this? Thanks!

They have their own "frequent eater" program. I read the promotional material, but it didn't seem worthwhile.

It is possible to earn 10 Gold Points per dollar spent while eating at T. G. I. Fridays. These points can then be converted to airline miles, 2,000 points is equal to 500 miles. There are over 20 airline programs to which the points may be transferred, including AA, CO, DL, US and UN.

Welcome aboard, TunaTacos!

You can earn 10 GoldPoints/$ spent at T.G.I Fridays. You can sign up either at http://www.goldpoints.com/ or http://www.radisson.com/RAD/Gold_Rew...,2859,,00.html

The FF miles redemption option is available only to the Radisson's Gold Rewards member so better to sign up with Radisson.

You can get the listing of partners at http://www.valueconsumer.com/PortalSearch.cfm It's listed under "Show me all the stores participating in"

For redemption options http://www.radisson.com/RAD/Gold_Rew...redeem,00.html

The Goldpoints program is not nearly as "lucrative" as the IDine/Worldperks/AAdvantage/United type dining for miles program where you get 10 miles per dollar spent.

But can't you do both? For instance, I can eat at Friday's, show my Radisson Gold Rewards card to earn points, AND use my registered credit card to pay, earning Skymiles or whatever per dollar spent too.

Why not do both? The points really can add up. I have 15,000 Gold Points, earned mostly through eating at Friday's, and I can convert them to 7,000 FF miles.

Or am I missing something?

How can one convert 15,000 Gold Points to 7,000 FF miles? I thought the conversion rate was 4:1.

Yes, as PG & Ann each note above, 2,000 points is equal to 500 miles!

The Goldpoints website is telling me that 5000 Goldpoints = 500 Miles and only lists 3 Airlines for me (AA, NWA & US). How do you get the 2,000 or the other Airlines?

My math was all wrong the first time. Sorry! It's been a long week!

You'll see on this page that you can redeem Radisson points at a 4:1 ratio to airlines including Delta - http://www.radisson.com/RAD/Gold_Rew...redeem,00.html

But you have to have a Radisson Gold Rewards card to do so. If you already have a goldpoints card, and you have (or sign up for) a Radisson card, you can move your points from your goldpoints card to the Radisson one if you like -- just call the goldpoints CSRs.
