Anyone notice the price variations between certain flowers on ftd.com and those on http://www.ftd.com/mp33/?
Are there any mileage-earning opportunities that don't seem to charge extra for the miles.
Example: 1 Dozen Medium Stem Red Roses with FREE Bear varies between 39.99 vs. 59.99 with miles!

I am soooooooooo annoyed w/FTD right now
I have never ordered from them, but rec'd a DL email just now about 20 miles per dollar. I went to their site and found a wine basket to order for my husband for Valentines... That's where the fun ended
I put in my zip and the site gives me a bogus error about a "state or federal law prohibiting delivery". That is total nonsense...
She could clearly see California as an allowed state on the list, but couldn't work out the problem and take the order. I rationalized with her for 10 minutes and still couldn't work it out (sigh). Now I can't get my kewl wine basket and all my miles
Among the excuses given --

1. The FTD site shows California available for alcohol delivery
2. Earlier today I almost placed a similar order @ 1800Flowers for a wine basket and they had no trouble with it (but wouldn't take my promo code)
3. Wine.com and many others will deliver to California
I called FTD to advise them I wanted to order this and that error must be a computer problem. After talking to two people and one of them talking to a supervisor, all they can do is make up weird excuses 2. 1. They can't deliver because they don't know if the recipient is over 21 (I said then no one would ever be able to order these because you can never be sure who opens the door)
2. FedEx and UPS must not deliver to my area! I assured her I am in a suburban area and UPS was here an hour ago and FedEx yesterday! I told her I couldn't believe she consulted a supervisor and the best answer they had was that I must live somewhere UPS/FedEx doesn't deliver
Sorry to carry on....it made no sense and I wanted the basket for my husband and the miles for me!
