I use quicken too, and I find it really very very efficient.
I can have a look at the flights or nights not yet credited, I can write a line saying 'this promotion is valid through...), and even say that I sent a letter, a second letter,...
Very usefull and nice to use !

Just for those of us that use these internet sites for doing that.

How do you track the flight you made and that, on the next accouny you receive 3 months later, are not yet registered ?
Are you able to write a line in provision of a future confirmatin ?
(We can do that on money or quicken, and we just compare with tthe real summary)

Felis:
MilesDirect has a feature called "EZ Reconciler" that lets you enter your flight/non flight activity in manually. It can be "post dated" and you can also enter the estimated number of miles. kinda like the account register in Quicken and Microsoft Money.

For those who use Quicken, could you explain whether you are using Quicken.com or the PC version? How does it track mileage (or where is it on the quicken.com web site)? Thanks.

Stay away from milesdirect.com. Bad CS (actually NO CS)....and they can't seem to keep track of programs correctly.

I use myaccounts.myciti.com which is powered by Yodlee. It's free, even to those without Citibank accounts, and it aggregates travel programs, bank accounts, credit card accounts, and a bunch of other stuff.

I've used http://www.maxmiles.com for about a year now. They've done a great job tracking my programs, elite levels & sending me an e-mail statement every 2 weeks.

I signed up for MaxMiles through Expedia a while back. They had a deal if you booked two tickets per year with them, they will pay your annual fee. They have paid my fees for last year and this.

Djlawman,

I just use the "plane" ole PC-based Quicken. Nothing fancy, but works well. I run graphs, reports, etc. Nice to see something in my Quicken account rising (unlike my stocks!).

Djlawman,
I do use alrso the good old PC version, and create besides my profile 'felis' and another one, let us call it 'vroumvroum'. I am then able to create an account for Delta, an another one for avis, and then for marriot, .... Even an aother one for the SWU (upgrades) but there is the limit.
Then I declare that the caaount uses miles or kilometers instead of dollars, euros, and, as the sofware is not very smart, it says: OK !
And then , it is the same method as for a banck account.I just must condolidate when I receive my paper summaries, manually.

Personally, I don't ever let it take that long. Any decent airline will post its own miles online within an hour of the flight and partner flights within 24 hours. If something doesn't appear online within a week or so, I make the tedious copies, etc, and send them off to the airline.

Hotels and Continental (do they use 10,000 people and one abacus to run their computer systems or something?) tend to be much slower, but can also usually be chased down before the next statement comes out.

I have used maxmiles for about 1-1/2 years. I have not been charged at all. I also have not used expedia's service.

I am not complaining, but I wonder how I got away if maxmiles is a pay service?

www.onmoney.com lets you track your account for many airline, hotel, & online rewards programs.

Some credit card and other financial accounts can also be tracked.
