50% bonus for BA miles conversion
You can receive a bonus of 50% more BA Miles when you convert your points from the hotel partners below to BA Miles from December 1, 2004 through January 31, 2005.
You must be a member of Executive Club to convert your points to BA Miles.
Convert points from the following hotels into BA Miles:
> Hyatt Gold Passport
> Hilton HHonors
> Marriott Rewards
> Priority Club Rewards
> Starwood Preferred Guest
Each hotel partnership has a unique conversion ratio for points to BA Miles. Please click here for more information and for details on how to convert.
Terms and Conditions
In order to convert points to BA Miles, you must be an existing member of the hotel frequent guest programmes listed above and a British Airways Executive Club member residing in the US and Canada only.
Offer valid for points to miles conversions made between December 1, 2004 and January 31, 2005. BA Miles will post to your Executive Club account 4-6 weeks from the date of conversion.

They've also historically had a similar summer promo with Diners Club - double points for many years, but IIRC a 50 percent bonus last year. Discussed at length in the DC forum.

yes DC had it first, but Starwood was the best because you first got the 5K bonus on a 20K transfer so 20k became 50K BA miles AND starpoints doesn't charge a fee to transfer to miles the way DC does. I emptied my starpoints account which I had allowed to accumulate after achieving liftetime platinum with aa. Thought I would use the starpoints for hotels, but that bonus offset the increase that BA made in getting a ticket. So I am sitting tight since I have 500K in my BA account and will only transfer for a 2 for 1 (at least for now.)
