Orange--definately!! Kind of a gold colored orange. Old Gold, are you still making those luggage tags that we've heard so much about?

I've seen a few of Old Gold's engraved metal tags at FT meetings, and in fact Rudi had his on bag last weekend. Maybe Randy should sub-contract to Old Gold?!
How about flouro pink LEATHER Randy.
Seriously the current ones as we have all now commented on are a disaster on checked bags. Leather or metal like the CO Elite ones, even if they cost more, surely make better sense? I'd rather pay 10 bucks for one that lasts. Bright is the way is my vote whatever you decide on. For rambling discussion on engraved PLATINUM FT tags, with Blackjack21 and others, and whether a pound of platinum weighs more than a pound of feathers, read on!

I proudly showed my OldGold black metal FlyerTalk tags (attached to my backpack) during my recent Australian journey, and all my FlyerTalk friends there were sooooooo jealous!

Black metal Flyertalk tags with gold colored engaving. Now we're geting somewhere!! Only problem is--they would be in such demand that they might "accidentally" disappear from your checked luggage. They would have to be attached with one piece titanium strapping--but that's no good, because then the handle that they were attached to might be "accidentally" broken, and the tag lost.
And, oz, the pound of feathers mentioned in the earlier thread would probably now be so dried out, that the pound of platinum would surely be that much heavier--IMAO.

Color??
I was about to order tags, but will not if they are that obvious. When walking into meetings with my briefcase, I don't mind having FT tags, but I don't want them to be the center of attention.
Think about it for a minute. Hey guy, what are those tags? Oh, those are from a BB that I spend countless hours scanning and chating every night. See, as you expected, I don't have a life.
On the other hand, if I was Randy or his staff, it would be a great idea for them.
