sorry forgot to add - these are reward flights.
I will be spending 160k miles if i got with virgin+ana or 165k if i got with ANA all the way.
I appologise if this is the wrong forum to ask but im kinda new here. If a mod wants to move it plz go ahead.

Seems like your 2 proposals are similar except for the flight to Tokyo. The ANA flight seems less tiring as the Virgin flight arrives just as you are becoming sleepy. The Virgin flight also forces you to either find a hotel that will allow you to sleep during the day or wander around Tokyo for a few hours. Wandering may be fun, but you will be returning to Tokyo later in the trip.

Yeah I agree, I'd take the award that didn't have the 11 hour daytime layover in Tokyo, where you are going back to anyway. That's a day wasted pretty much. You could sleep at a day-use hotel, one in the airport maybe, but that's not exactly going to help reset your clock to the time zones there.

<rant> Is it so absolutely necessary to post in 4 different forums and yet more threads?

If you asked me, I would take the F flights on NH, no question. VS doesn't even cause the tinest scratch on NH's toes when comparing VS J vs. NH F, save for the limo service (which you'll be ineligible for) and the lounge (you can use any F lounge in LHR T3 if you flew NH F).
You mention you want the best possible seats. Really, there should be no question that (given seat availability) NH is the way to go.
Perhaps you can even find the odd LHR-SIN or v.v. that has an F seat available on SQ (will be quite a search, mind you) and you'd have pretty much tried all the best ones.
(Just saw your itin, if you have >170,000 miles, surely you can go F all the way? Why fly J between LHR and NRT? bmi's UK-Asia award in F is 160k)
Now book those tickets in F and stop posting in wrong forums
