Miles from Kellogg Cereal

I've been waiting six weeks for American Airlines to credit my frequent flyer account with miles from Kellogg cereals. Anybody else experiencing this?

Yep. But wait: I've sent in about 10 of
these 500-mile certs from various promotions
(San Francisco Chronicle, Healthy Choice, Kelloggs, Wyndham), and each has taken about
*3 MONTHS* to credit. Got them all, though.

Yes, painfully slow. The wait is worth it. A year ago, I was eating cereal and getting no miles!

The availability seems to have increased; boxes can be found in most Southern California supermarkets.

Good Luck.

I too have sent in the certs about 8 weeks ago, no posting yet but still waiting! It looks as though three months is the minimum

I got mine in about 3 wks, at the most. And yes, this seemed to be unusually fast.

I was reading in the former post that numerous folks (in/around Chicago???) were getting corn flakes for $1.29 a box, with the cert on them. No such luck in N. California; the best you can find is $4 for the Bran cereals; typical, I guess, since I also pay $2.29 for self-serve premium, and my parking at work costs me $400/month. Everybody gets fleeced here!)

Anybody SEEN a box of Cornflakes with the cert here around San Francisco???? What chain?

SST: In northern California I'm mostly seeing the NASCAR Corn Flakes boxes. Last week I did find the large boxes of Corn Flakes with AA certificate's at the Raley's/Bel Air/Nob Hill chain, for $2.89 though.

Here in rural Maine the Walmart Superstores are selling the 12 oz Corn Flakes boxes for $1.48. You have to be careful though, as they're mixing boxes on the shelf with and without the coupons.

And, my AA miles are posting about 4-6 weeks after I mail them in.

Here we go again. I am still checking WalMart stores since the last time info was posted, WalMart seemed to be the place to go. I found three stores in my area, spent Sunday (a month ago) driving to the stores just to find boxes with cars, not airplanes. Here in So Cal, we continue to have only the $4 boxes of cereal with the offer, hardly worth paying that much. Good luck finding the corn flakes!!

In my area (northwest Boston suburbs) the Market Basket chain has the 12-oz. Corn Flakes at $2.19. My local store got me six cases by special order. They went along with "no planes, no sale" when I explained the reason. The cereal went to a local food bank. I kept the coupons. (Their volunteers and I had fun tearing up boxes.) Not quite in Pudding Guy's league, but you do what you can ...

By the way - if you ever have to fill out 90+ coupons (I eat the stuff, too) you may care that labels are OK as long as ALL the info is there. (I called Kellogg.) My computer prints them by the dozen onto Avery label paper.

Thanks for the call to Kellogg's. Filling those certificates out does get tedious. Worth it, however.

On the subject of labels, I often use plain old return address labels when filling out order/entry forms. They've always been accepted (if not welcomed) in my experience. Just be considerate enough not to use ones with microscopic print.

Right. Kellogg's said address labels are fine as long as you also fill in your AA number and your phone number(s), which the usual address label doesn't have. Given that I had 90+ of the things and expected more, I went the custom-label route with all the info preprinted.
