beetee: if you're near the Mass. line, try driving a few miles north. All the major chains around here have them. (I'm north of Boston, not south, but I can't imagine that a Massachusetts chain would split its shipments to make sure that airplane boxes stayed out of Attleboro.)

I learned something new from the Kellogg's 8000 number that is very good news. For three brands--Corn FLakes, Low Fat Granola and Just Right--you receive 250 miles per box.
I am buying $1000 worth (500 boxes at Safeway) of those particular brands and donating them to a food bank that will pick them up at my home. I will earn 125,000 miles, worth $2500 in my book (at 2 cents per mile). With the tax deduction for a charitable contribution factored in, I expect that my purchase will cost me only $690. For that I will receive good will and $2500 worth of travel.

Are the boxes labeled for 250, or is this something they do for you when they get the coupons? Do you know if it's possible to mix 100-mile coupons and 250-mile coupons in one batch of 5? Inquiring minds (some of them connected to bodies that actually eat a couple of these brands) want to know!
I'm a little suprised they're not giving this more PR. Seems like a costly thing to do if they're not going to milk it for all it's worth to sell more cereal.

Can anyone confirm the 250 miles rumor? I just checked the rules at www.kelloggs.com and there's nothing mentioned about this. Then again, Corn Flakes aren't mentioned as an eligible product, so the rules need revision.

I think my parish food bank was thinking of me. The bulletin had an announcement asking for simple meals to supplement for missed school meals. It specifically requested CEREAL

Am I missing something here? Isn't it
1 box = 500 points? i.e
$1.50 = 500 points
$75 = 25000 points = 1 free ticket?
I haven't taken advantage of this program yet. Am planning to though...
So, please correct my math and letme know how
$350 came into picture !

ANUPINDI -
1-BOX = 100 MI
5-BOXES = 500 MI
25-BOXES = 2500 MI
THE PRICES OF CEREALS DIFFER DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU BUY THEM AND WHAT BRAND, THERE ARE SEVERAL BRANDS INVOLVED IN THIS PROMO CHECK THEIR WEBSITE AT KELLOGGS (SOME OF THEM CAN BE VERY PRICEY!)
AS FOR THE $350 I DON'T KNOW WHERE THAT CAME FROM UNLESS YOUR REFERRING TO THE 250 MI PER BOX ON CORN FLAKES THAT WAS MENTIONED EARLIER - HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO VERIFY THAT FOR MYSELF YET, BUT AM VERY INTERESTED IN FINDING OUT
GOOD LUCK IN THE PROMO - I HAVE ONLY RECIEVED 500AA MI FOR THIS PROMO SO FAR BUT MAY SOON BE PUTTING IN MORE EFFORT, ESPECIALLY IF I CAN FIND THOSE 250MI PER BOX CEREALS!

I just got off the phone with a Kellogg representative ((800) 962-1413) who confirmed that certain products will have 250 point coupons.
However, the 250 point coupons will only be on the "club packs" which she said are 48 to 64 ounces packages. They are usually sold at places like Sam's Club.

For anybody thinking the codes inside the Kellogg cereal boxes are FF mile related: their not.
A person accrues points by entering the codes on the Kellogg website. They can redeem the points for toys and other children items.

Thanks Bluebonnet! I found them at City Market for #2.69 for the 18oz. Also in the Central Texas Area I found that a Brookshire Brothers store (in Wimberley) ordered them a case at a time for $2.00 a box. I ordered 10 cases. All have arrived with the FF coupon offer attached. I have a cookie recipe but it only takes 2 cups per batch and am giving the rest away to Corn Flakes lovers. The food bank will get some as well.
