You guys helped me win a trip....
I have been reading these boards for a while now and usually goto some of the other sites that are mentioned. There was a discussion beginning 12/99 about freeairmiles.com. I went to it, signed up, and won a trip. Thanks to whoever brought it up. I don't work for the company or anything like that, but just wanted to tell you guys..check it out on www.freeairmiles.com in the winner's circle..that's me from GA. Unfornuately, who knows when the site will become active. I'm no PuddingGuy, but hey, its something!

Its 8 days/7 nights to a golf resort in Ft Lauderdale-Boneventure and r/t tix for 2. It will be a nice getaway..Barbie won't be going, but the wife will.
BTW, in speaking with a rep from FreeAirMiles, she said that they will start to give away the miles in about 2 weeks.

Ken, congrats!!!!!!!! I too am a member of FreeAirMiles.com and have been talking to
(e-mailing) someone in their company. Launch is set for June 1, 2000. I believe max miles per day to start is 100, but will increase later.
I'm already planning a family vacation next May, and hope to have enough miles for roundtrip ticket, hotel accomodations and rental car. All of these can be redeemed through 1Travel.com with FreeAir Miles.
Can't wait....

Ken, great job. Sounds like a great trip. I have heard that Bonaventure is a GREAT resort and will find out 17-24 June when I go scuba diving. Even though the resort is 25 miles inland (didn't even know the city limits went that far west) it is the only exchange with RCI I could confirm on relatively short notice in a busy season. Have fun!

My favorite win-a-trip story is Continental Airlines had a booth at some kind of college student trade show in Boston sometime around 1991. (Attending vendors were those interested in pitching their merchandise [free samples, coupons, etc.] to college students....) I can't remember the exact details, but for $5 (which would go to charity), you'd get 3 bean bags to toss through a carnival-style clown face with holes cut out. If you got all 3 through, you won a voucher for a 48-states round trip ticket! I wasted no time in digging out some cash, and it took something like $20 to win 2 vouchers. The employees working the booth didn't mind having me win the second, but waved me off before I could try winning even more.
Sweet deal.
Sweet deal.
