Srilankan to join Star Alliance?
Hi all
A friend of mine has just booked a discount economy ticket to Europe with Air Lanka (now Sri Lankan Airlines). She asked me to help out re points.
I rang Sirlankan and was told that they would be relaunching their frequent flyer scheme in the next few weeks. From memory I think they will be partnered with Emirates. What was really interesting however was that the person on the phone suggested that possibly in the future there might be partnerships with some of the Star Alliance carriers which makes me think that Srilankan might join Star Alliance.
