Question MyPoints Bonus Program

Can anyone tell me whether or not the Advantage miles you can earn through MyPoints
is transferable? In other words, could I redeem points for Advantage miles and put them into my mother or father's accounts?
Thanks!

I haven't tried this, but I have a mypoints 5,000 vacationmiles cert in front of me that I havent decided how to use yet. It gives a number for AA redemption questions, call Ann Marie at 1-800-343-4034 ext 214. The cert does list your name on it, but they may still let you give the miles to someone else.

Please let us know what you find out.

I called and asked about this a while back, and they said yes, the way to do it is just fill in the back (which doesn't have the name but does have the certificate # on it) and fax it in. Good luck.

Thumbs up

I've collected the Vacation Miles and successfully (if slowly) put them into my AAdvantage Account.

I called today and was told it's no problem to transfer miles into someone else's account. Thanks to all those who responded!
