Can someone answer how long it takes to get the Amazon gc? I requested on 6/7 and says 5 days, but nothing yet. I requested Starbucks gc at the same time, and I think it also said 5 days, and it was available 6/12.

I redeemed mine for Hilton and will consider it an unexpected bonus if they actually show up.

It told me that it would take 45 days.

Family members all cashed out on the same day 6/7. One got United miles credited on 6/12, and the 2 others got "FAILED" message for United miles redemption (no reason given). United miles were the only redemption option and both had redeemed successfully previously so the MP # is correct. Contacted customer service, of course no response. So the data points for us are:

United miles - mixed results. If successful, takes 5 days, or will show FAILED.
Starbucks gc - received successfully in 5 days
Amazon gc - received successfully in 7 days (updated)

So if I had to redeem e-miles for United as my only option, I would open the E-rewards account and get the 1000 e-miles pts converted to $50 e-rewards which can be redeemed for 1000 United miles, same as e-miles, and hope for better customer service that e-miles.

I hope somebody out there gets mad enough to file a class action lawsuit against this fraud of a company.

It seems like a huge part of their business strategy revolves around the fact that they can scam thousands of people out of ten or twenty bucks worth of awards and no single individual will get pissed off enough about it to sue.

Requested mine on May 29th and it showed up on June 11 or 12 (not sure exactly which day, and I have deleted the email).

UPDATE: Got my Amazon gc today 6/14, so it took 7 days. Very glad it came!

Might be safer just to let the points to transfer to e-rewards.
Got my Amazon gift card yesterday. I think it was batched before the end of the end today.

Another update: The miles from the FAILED United redemption got redeposited back into the e-miles account today. Will just let it roll over into e-rewards and request the United miles from there. At least they're not lost.

Why don't you? You seem to care about it a lot more than most people.

Because the magnitude of my damages is about five bucks. I'm mad enough to rant about it on an anonymous Internet forum, but not mad enough to really do anything about it.

So I'll just sit here and derive a small amount of pleasure that this entire scam seems to be cratering for good.

You could always sue in small claims court and hope for a request to appear on "The People's Court." I would love to see one of these E-miles representatives appear on broadcast TV.

I can still log into my account and my points are still there. Still waiting for the transfer over to E-Rewards.

What makes you think they would agree to arbitration?

But they have absolutely nothing to gain and everything to lose. I suspect any small claims action would be considered frivolous.
