Oh no, I didn't get points today either! In 4 months this twitter thing got me more than 6000 points. Now I'm just 900 points shy of 200K for that awesome 7 nights + miles award! Yes, I could buy 1K points but where's the fun in that?

I use the following search string, which you can test by pasting it into the search box on twitter:
-"Thanks for the tweet" -"Thanks for the post" -"Your #MRpoints post" -"entry was" -"entry limit" #mrpoints from:"MarriottRewards" OR from:"GaylordHotels"
In English: get all tweets from either MarriottRewards or GaylordHotels, that include the hashtag #mrpoints, that do NOT include any of the quoted phrases that have a dash in front of them.
I noticed that this works correctly most of the time but still shows some tweets that ought to be excluded per the definition. No biggie.
To automate this, go to ifttt.com and create a "recipe". The above search string would be the "this", and the "that" would be to send yourself an email. I won't go into the process of creating a recipe as it is off-topic here and already covered extensively by numerous articles on the web (that's how I learned).

I will be watching all of the marriott twitter accounts and will post when i see something.
My twitter search string is #mrpoints -"insertdefuncthashtaghere" etc etc.
Usually weeds out the bots and old hashtags.

Judging by the automated responses on Twitter from @MarriottRewards, the last successful #ACHotelChicago tweets were around 8pm UK time last night (which would be noon PST). The last time 'Your #MRpoints post was successful! ' was tweeted by them was 8:16pm.
