For those of you ordering a large number of items, check your packages very carefully. I have received my handbag shipment (waiting on sunglasses), but I am missing a bag. The packing list reflects this (2 bags ordered, 1 bag shipped) but the online order status does not (showing all bags shipped with same tracking number that has already been delivered).

Anybody know how often this bonus comes around? I'd like to buy 2-3 Tumi bags and may just wait it out.

American states that it typically take 30 days to award miles, but can take up to 8 weeks. If the points don't post in eight weeks I will definitely bug them. Between this, a big FTD order I did for a wedding and a North Face order I'm owed almost 40,000 points, so I am tracking all three closely. So far I haven't had trouble with points posting, but they weren't for such large amounts. |

EDIT as of 10:50pm: Mine now show as "confirmed" on the AA portal. When they post to my AA is anyone's guess... |

Still no sign of my earlier $40 TravelSmith purchase back in September, or the 2,000 mile bonus I was supposed to earn for making it. But at least the important purchase went through OK. I'm getting my 11,000 points! |

Still not posted to my actual AAdvantage account (AA.COM). Anyone know how long that takes, or if they only do a monthly update?

They told me my order doesn't qualify for some reason... back goes $1300 worth of luggage (early Christmas gifts). Wonder how much they are going to waste on the shipping.

Strange
2 of 3 orders have posted as pending in the AA Mall. That's great.
In my experience, they move fairly quickly from the AA Mall to your AA account. I've never timed it, but it seems like more often than once a month. Anita |
