EDIT...nevermind fount it. Thanks so much!

But did you actually BOOK the flight using CARDOFFERU and stack it with AARP???

I know the website will price out the 10% discount but I've tried the RBC Avion visa and the chase marriott visa and neither worked.

I wonder if the Canadian RBC BA card will actually work for a US origin booking thats stacked with AARP and the 10%

Is the Aeroplan transfer bonus still happening? I thought it went until Aug 15, but I can't find it on their website.

No I didn't stack it. I have used the AARP discount in the past...at the time I didn't know about the cardoffeu code, though.

If I cancel my Best Western Rewards Platinum Plus Mastercard, will I still get to keep my points in my Best Western Rewards account?

Yes. Points are simply pushed from MBNA to your Best Western account.
If you start another card later, you can add points to your account again then.

Just got my Aug statement and stated the Rogers card will now start charging FX :(

It will charge 2.5% and you get 1.75% back as reward that mahasamatman mentioned on July 28 here.

Hopefully my connverted Sears card will not follow this

According to their main page, you get 4% cash back on foreign purchases starting 17 August, so there's still a net 1.5% after the 2.5% forex fee.

Thought that was for the new FIDO card only.... and I think those rewards / points are to use for FIDO product/service only.

So for two months, we can get a flat 4% back.

Read the footnote on https://rogersbank.com/en/card_detai...rd?tab=rewards

Or, contact Rogers Bank once per year to receive statement credit for value of rewards earned.
The same footnote appears on the Platinum card's benefits page.

National Bank World Elite Mastercard 30,000 Welcome points(worth $300) FYF

I got my 1st statement and the welcome points weren't there, apart from the points from the actual spend. Is that normal? Do points appear on the second statement?

National a Nightmare

I had to call NB over and over for points, smart traveler redemptions, etc. My anniversary date was coming up and I called to cancel my card. The CS agent told me that I would still have to pay the yearly fee.And argued he did when I told him that I would not. He offered me points not to cancel and said the only way to "avoid messing up my credit if I don't pay" was to get another NB product. I let him ramble on a while and asked for his supervisor. Within minutes he informed me "I will do it for you this time". And then I wrote him up to corporate. Good luck.
