It also now has a 2.5% FX fee.
So basically, 1.5% cashback if you account for their FX fee, which still isn't too bad. Can anyone find out where it shows that they are charging 2.5% FX now? |
No, the FX starts Oct 16: https://rogersbank.com/en/platinum_fees

I called BW and they said the points would come in the statement after the check - so I'm assuming if you don't get it by your 4th statement, call in again. They were definitely aware of the promo and said my account was in order and I'd receive them though, so I'm just playing the waiting game still.
Re my comment... It turns out that I mixed up a couple of hotel chains... please disregard what I wrote. |

Good to hear that it is working out for you and hopefully for the others who commented about this previously.

I called them today as well as only 40,000 points have posted. Assuming one has spent the required $2,000 she said the first 20K comes after the first purchase, the second 20k after $1,000 spend and the third 20k comes at the 3 month mark regardelss of when you made the subsequent $1,000 spend. I guess we'll wait and see.

I just received an email from Aeroplan.com. It says "congratulations, you just earned your 5,000 welcome bonus miles."
It looks as the bonus was from the AMEX AeroplanPlus card (The blue one) but I haven't had this for years and had not applied for one. Could it be possible that someone accidentally entered my Aeroplan # during their application? |
