Hertz allows points to be moved from one family member to another if both are gold.
Call the #1 Gold Plus Rewards Desk (1-888-999-4900) during the hours of 0600-2100 CST Monday through Friday and ask for a transfer of points.

For me the whole point of the transfer is to pool points for a booking e.g. if I have 28K points and my wife has 30k then we could book a 50k category room if we can combine the points.

I believe that this is only if both parties have the Hawaiian Airlines credit card: http://www.hawaiianairlines.com/Hawa...es/share-miles

Transferring Miles/Points to Another Person
What programs allow the transferring of points to another person for a fee and what programs allow it free of charge? It'd be nice to get a thread going with that info. I'll start:
Free Transfer
Club Carlson: "Yes, if you have the name or account number of another Club Carlson member, you may transfer points to that person by calling Member Services." (1-888-288-8889)
SPG: "'It’s not possible to create a joint Starwood Preferred Guest account and we are unable to combine two accounts if they’re registered in different names. However, it’s possible to transfer Starpoints between two Starwood Preferred Guest accounts if the household address is the same on both accounts." (http://www.starwoodhotels.com/prefer...al.html#N10084)
Transfers that Cost $$$
Hilton Hhonors: "You can instantly transfer your points to another HHonors member in increments of 10,000 points, at a cost of $25 USD per 10,000 points. This rate applies to all points transferred up to 200,000. After 200,000 points have been transferred in one calendar year, all additional transfers are free of charge." I would note crucially that "point transfers" are often used as the basis for promotions.
Many airlines allow points to be transferred but the cost of the transfer is often close to or even greater than the value of the points themselves. In these cases, point transfers are almost pointless (no pun intended).
For example:
USAir allows points to be transferred for a fee of 1 cent per point, plus 7.5% tax, plus $30. So a 50,000 point transfer costs $567.50.
However, last fall they had a promotion where for every point transferred out, the recipient got two points. So if you transferred 50,000 points, you were in effect buying 50,000 points for $567.50.
Delta has had similar promotions, although I don't know if their bonuses have been as high as 100%.
So to say "USAir charges 1.075 cents per point plus $30" would be accurate when they don't have a promotion, but someone reading this "definitive" thread could be easily misled if they do have a promotion at some point.

OP updated to add KE:
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/20295681-post12.html
Also added EK, QR and KU.
For Chase UR looks like they now restrict transfers to spouse.

This is interesting because when I called Amex about this they told me you cannot combine membership rewards accounts even if both parties have same address. Perhaps it is because both cards are credit cards and not charge cards. Anyone know the special request email to give it another shot?
