I emailed TK about 2 weeks ago asking for a status match against my BA Gold card. Other than an automated response, I've heard nothing.
How long should I wait before chasing it up? Should I even chase it up? |

I was wondering that it could be that when you fill in the turkish airlines online contact form, it gives you a few options to choose from what your "feedback subject" is, (after "feedback category" and "feedback type".) I'm not sure which one to choose - "membership processing" or "other" or "star alliance and partners" this could be the problem that its not getting to the right department. I dunno. :( And by the way, more email addresses i used for china airlines match: [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]. i would be matched when i make first booking. |

I can't recall what I selected as the subject heading.
Three months is a long time, probably too long! It doesn't inspire confidence. |
Was able to successfully match my CX Gold (from Amex Plat) to Delta Gold Medallion challenge.

Gulf Air appear to be matching *A gold. Took less than 48 hours and they will be sending a Gold card in 3-4 weeks.

Is it correct that most airlines within an alliance won't match cuz they don't wanna be seen as poachers (or some other reason)?
I'll be SE 100k with AC for 2015 but I wanna jump to UA MP. |
I had no trouble doing a status match from AC to UA MP. I just sent an email to UA MP and they responded with the requirements.

Timing question about comping over from DL PM to AA Plat
I'm looking at trying to get AA to match my DL PM status, probably to AA Platinum.
I understand they like to do these 90-day challenges. I already have a SE Asia trip booked on them with the outbound in late Jan. and the return in mid- Feb. 2015 (AA to HKG, then CX). The fare gets 50% EQPs but would come close to the 10K (if that's what they want). Question: When should I ask for the status match to get the 90 days that include both the outbound and return on this trip? Now, or wait? Any other info about what to expect also welcome. |

Today I've asked to match my China Airlines Dynasty Flyer Emerald to EVA Air Infinity MileageLands Gold, so Skyteam to StarAlliance. In the statusmatcher website, they wrote that 2 people already got this opportunity, providing to have some transactions on both the accounts.

Klm did status matches in 2012-2013 but its been quiet for awhile now... Hopefully in 2015 theyll do it again :) |

I've had little luck, but good to know about turkish.
Delta Diamond with no status matches yet. Have tried a few in the past week, will see what happens.

For "feedback category" choose "Miles and smiles program" , for "feedback type" choose "request", for "feedback subject" choose "Other" then fill out the details. I tried other subjects but got no response after over 6 weeks each, then tried this, and got matched 3 weeks later. (Upload copies of card and recent flight activities.)
