Update as of May 21, 2014 - in recent weeks some people have reported being told that they are no longer eligible for this offer, in spite of meeting the previous terms and conditions. Then, if after you transfer assets you get an email saying you are not eligible for the offer for which you registered (yes, this has happened), call the rep again, asking to read the notes on your account. You will probably be told that the email was automated and was sent in error and that they will hand babysit the funding and resultant miles.
If the registration page tells you are not eligible because you have had the offer before, call one of the above numbers. You are eligible after on year. That year probably starts counting when the miles are awarded, not when you register or when you add assets.
Trusts require extra caution on their part. Sometimes they require that you give them a lot of paperwork for trusts. If you have a local Fidelity office, just bring in everything required and they will copy and mail it for you. Easy. Otherwise, just mail it in. If upon trying to register online you are informed that your Revocable Living Trust account is not eligible, well, just call one of the above numbers, because it is eligible. They just have to verify a few things and then override the system. They want to know that you are the only trustee and the only beneficiary.

This thread started 3 1/2 years ago, and Fidelity was offering these deals before that. So, chances are good that they will continue for some years into the future.

Actually it is the Delta deal that is currently set to expire the soonest - Feb. 14, 2014. In the past Fidelity has almost always extended these offers.

Delta is very difficult to find coach award seats so not that big of a fan.
United just increased partner FF award by 63%.
Guess AA is my next target even though FF award tickets take many months booking in advance on AA also.

The is a credit report inquiry soft pull vs formal credit application inquiry hard pull. The soft pull inquiries normally have no impact. The regular accounts you have at banks ask for soft pull nquiries on a 2-4 times per year after you have opened the account. However, if you apply for a brokerage margin account this would most likely be a formal credit application hard pull which can be approximately 6-10 point correction.

Funds deposited 11/19. Called 12/9 and was told they had to submit the ileage request manually and it should take about 2 weeks. Secure msg 1/15, they cited tech problems but claimed a system upgrade over the weekend would fix everything and I should have the miles by "the end of next week." Still nothing so I sent another SM. Has anybody received their miles for November/December deposits?

So United gave me 50K about 2 weeks after I deposited the $100K, and then a few weeks later, gave me another 25K. First reference for 50K - "Fidelity referral program bonus." 2nd reference - "Fidelity Financial Services" - anyone know why that is? Error?
