I did it, answered some short surveys, and made a copy of that webpage showing I joined. Hope I get the 500 points...

It's good for the bonus, but you must be valuing your time VERY lowly if you're gonna complete surveys just to get miles- even if you answer them randomly in the fastest way possible.

I disagree, as I have done many surveys on free time that resulted in miles and points and it's no skin off my back to do them and the miles have always posted. If it were a pain then yeah, but it's not really, so why NOT do them? I mean, I could be spending all my time reading say, golfing magazines... but I don't golf so maybe this is ok?

Then again I WAS going to mention that I personally have been told to AVOID e-rewards because it can often fail to post miles and not be worth much of anything because of all the problems it can cause---like a shopping mall transaction on a Cartera-run mall.

Ha! Touche, my friend - but, I can tell ya that in 8+ years I've never had an issue with e-r posting mileage/points to any partner program.

glad to hear that. I am happy to see when a program works for someone...

then again, for 8 years I had done that costco buy/return thing and then one day it just stopped working on me lol

Nor have I (failed to have e-rewards miles post). What I really like about it is that I can have a "reserve" bank account of miles that I can instantly (well, almost) apply to several airline loyalty programs. This is nice because sometimes all it takes is 2 or 3k more miles to be able to book a reward ticket. I have found that eshopping awards take a while to post up.

Received an email on 3/26 "Special message from The Whiteboard", looked at my account and 600 miles were deposited on 3/9 -- "uSamp Tier Rewards- Medallion Members". Not bad.
