Perhaps, the best airline mileage calculator!!!
Click on
http://www.chicago.com/airliners/gc.html
Go to "Paths" and type in your intinerary using airport codes, such as LAX-EWR, EWR-FLL, FLL-IAH, IAH-LAX and click "Display Map."
This one allows ulimited multiple segments (even open jaw routing), is not route sensitive to any one particular airline and is a breeze to use! Additionally, it lists the mileage (actual air miles) between the airports (the same method the airlines use), rather than cities. It appears to be very accurate. Of course, the individual airline's calculation will always prevail. Check with the airline directly if it's a close call!
