Should I wait a bit?

Re: the Citi Business card

Re-read post #2 in the Citi AA 75k miles thread. You'll want to wait at least 65 days before applying for the Citi Business card from when you applied for the personal cards. Once you've passed 65 days go for the Business card, until then I would wait since if you do it before it will probably be rejected since Citi only likes applications every 60 days.

The business referral got said:

Get 10,000 Starpoints with your first purchase on the Card
Get 20,000 bonus Starpoints when you spend $4,500 in three months on the Card.

In some areas of the US AMEX is routinely rejected witch makes it less valuable as a go-to card at home. The Sapphire seems to be filling this slot to some extent. Also more of a west coast item is the Alaska card- overlooked I think. 40K and a companion fare with no spend, a BoA card so doesn't interfere with the Chase collection, and mildly churnable. A lot of excellent partners also.

For Amex, the 100k Platinum and 75k Gold are both good options if you have been targeted or want to try calling after to bump your bonus up. Gold often gets the annual fee waived and you can get $400 of the $450 fee back from the Platinum card back in airline purchases (e.g. Gift cards).

I would consider also doing the SPG card(s) as the bonus is probably as good as it gets. It is also a good daily use card since the StarPoints are often worth a bit more than 1 mile via transfer bonuses.

The credit should reset each calendar year. So if you keep the card for just 1 year you can get the credit twice.
