LOL'ing at the 10cpm valuation. I would absolutely go ballistic if I ever got 1099'ed by AA. A couple years ago, for big contests like the 1MM giveaways, weren't they using something a wee bit more modest, like 2.5 cpm? (Still high I know, but I'd probably pay $8k-10k real cash to obtain 1MM miles and the Lifetime Plat I'd get along with it. )

Isn't there a limit where if they consider it a gift for their tax purposes that they would have to send you a 1099?...or is it $599 and above, like wages?
