Looks like PayDivvy is following through on their promise - and notifying people. I just got this email for each account:

We are happy to announce that bank account payments are right around corner! Paying your bills is still free and easy when you make payments to your friends and bill providers using our standard payment option (i.e., with your bank account).

At the same time, we will be introducing fees on our instant payment options. There will be a fee of 3.5% for all instant payments, which includes all debit and credit card transactions (Note: Standard payments may take a few days to clear through your bank, whereas instant payments will be processed immediately).

You may choose your payment method each time you accept a divvy and you can change your preferred payment method at any time. If you want to continue to enjoy free payments, we recommend you get your bank account added and verified now.

Thanks for using PayDivvy, and please contact us if you have any questions.
At 3.5%, I can safely say, I'm done with these guys.

If I shared bills, I might make use of their debiting feature, but I just can't see where I'd ever need it.

Again, you received that email at "each account?" So, you opened multiple accounts for yourself, violating the user agreement of every online payment/banking company out there?

Is that what people are encouraging on this forum? "Biting the meat" off of companies working hard to bring a solution to the public, and violating agreements in order to do so? Ridiculous.

Aren't we here to discuss "legitimate deals" that exist out there? Moderator, please close this thread.

Nice try shadyflyer. And welcome to Flyertalk.

Do you happen to know QL_714?

My wife and I each have an account. Thanks.

Love to see some backup on your ridiculous claim that this violates "the user agreement of every online payment/banking company out there."

We can't each have a bank account now? And I can't have two accounts at the same bank?

On FlyerTalk, there's is a group of people who like to keep good deals to themselves. By your request to close this thread, I'm assuming you're in that group.

There's also another group that comes here not only to glean, but to share.

For your second post, this is a gem.

Wow, way to jump the gun. I think it's ridiculous when you assume what other members are doing....for all you know he is referring to his and his wife's and/or other family members accounts. Nothing outside the TOC with doing that.

Looks like we both posted at about the same time - Thanks for backing me up!

Funny how some people can pretend they're not abusing anything and not in it for the miles/points.

*Of course* I'm doing this just for the miles.

This is MilesBuzz! after all, right?

But I don't know that I'm abusing anything. This site is meant to share payments. My wife and I both have jobs and money and pay for things like credit card bills. Isn't that the point of PayDivvy?

It's just not worth 3.5% to me for this service. But free? Sure.

Anyone having network issues with Paydivvy? I am having trouble to withdraw my PD balance since June 30th. It keeps saying they are having network issues but for three days in row? The strange thing is that everything seems fine, like to create divvy or send bill but withdraw.

Is that just me or ? Any thought?

A month now and Paydivvy still dead with no news of replacement or acquirer.

Going to convert/close my amex cards since there's no way to use them to pay large bills anymore. Will proceed to kick myself if they re-open tomorrow.
