Setting yourself up as authorized user on her Continental CC will just allow you to use it. The miles still sit in her FF account and there is a cost to transfer. If your mom has no use for miles, she may permit you to use them. But they can't be transfered to your account (for most FF programs) without a cost.

FYI... This board is pretty amazing, but it is not a personal information service. You need to do your homework first, then ask the questions that remain unanswered. Check the sticks for the different airlines, and try some simple searching. If flying first while paying coach were that easy, the back of the plane would be empty.

Igor718,
The other thing what made everyone jump on you was that instead of humbly asking a question about something you didn't understand, you titled the thread "how to get approved more" as if you had discovered the greatest thing since sliced bread. And in turn, if only you had researched a bit more, you would not have though you'd discovered a loophole.
It's one thing to post a question that has been answered a zillion times. It's quite another to take a question that has been answered correctly a zillion times, come up with your own incorrect answer to it, and trumpted it to the world as if it's a wonderful new discovery.

heh heh
seriously you need to read, and search...all the basics and many specifics are easily found here with very little effort....this is not slickdeals, where you are spoonfed every answer to questions that have been answered many times...some people there dont even read the page they post on to get the answer...thats lazy....people here will gladly help you out if you have a difficult question and have tried to find the answer to no avail, but when you ask simple questions, with answers that are easily found...your wasting our time....put a little effort into it

You have posted in at least 4 threads. The common denomitor of each is;
I'm too lazy to do my own research,
Spoon feed me with answers to questions that have been answered many times before,
Show me how I can scam the airlines

Being on a forum can be like real life. If people realize you have nothing to contribute, they eventually stop paying attention to you. On a forum, that means they stop reading and responding to your posts. Believe me, if the ideas you had posted worked, everyone on FT would be flying first class for free--and the airlines would go bankrupt.
OK, so maybe that's an exaggeration, but as a grad economics professor once taught me, "There's no such thing as a free lunch."

It doesn't take a genius to work out what would happen if everyone did this - FT would become useless and no-one would be able to learn anything.

Imagine a new Mafia, where some bling-wearing fat guy named Nunzio and his heavy -NY-accented partner Vinny go to unsuspecting old ladys' homes and knock em off after extorting their FF acct information from them? For a fee of course, that WE pay here at Ft (in coins) if we use their services...

hahahahaha now THIS gives a whole new meaning to the phrase, "I'd KILL for a lot of miles!"

on another note, I will say that this thread was probably started by someone who didnt know he didnt know.
after all, do you all remember YOUR first day of excitement when it HIT you and you finally got INTO miles?? And how you couldnt believe all these things were possible and potentially lucrative? Imagine the joy of those blissful days... Now it's all bitterness and addiction lol (waiting for things to post, being pissed when we didnt get some award, blabbering over the difference between a 100k mile card and a 75k one --when one time, they used to be like 15-25k only!) lol
so maybe the OP is just a newbie and that's the way it was for you and I too!

haha yes I could see Vincent D'Onofrio leaning over the perp as he sits there in the interrogation room... The detective says, in his calm voice... So... you...did this... for miles? Well, I know how you did it!
And the perp caves and talks about coins, churns, selling awards and whatnot

"And tell me about all the waffles and magazines and cereal and water in the back bedroom..."

and then, whats his name from CSI Miami takes off his glasses slowly and nods in the direction of a dumpster over in the corner of the south Florida parking lot his team is collecting evidence at...
I think I've just found the source...
And he sees a man's legs hanging out of the dumpster which is next to a new black Lexus
Now why would a man driving a car like this go in there, and for what?
they pull the body out and the dead man's hand is clutching a movie theater cup with a torn AA miles coupon on it... The coupon is gone and there's a bullet hole in his head

Since the OP's questions have been answered, and this is spinning OT, I'll close 'er down.
