Question Completing the Spending Limit

Hi,
I'm completely new to this. I just received my Citi Card where I can get 75000 miles if I spend 4,000 in 6 months.

Any suggestions as to how I can accomplish this? Any other ways besides US Mint?

Thank you!

I think you mean spending requirement. There is one way. PM me the card number along with expiration date and security code. I will hop on it and make sure you meet the spending requirement.

I can offer this service specially for you free of charge. Happy travels man!

I paid my property taxes with it the day after I activated the card. They charged me an $8.00 fee to use an Amex. $8 for 81k miles is a steal, IMO. Paid the card off a few days later once the charges hit using the cash I was going to pay the taxes with and now I am just waiting for my miles to post.

there's nothing that you normally put on a cc?....you need to spend $667/mo....of course, you can do the coins to make up the difference....buy $1000 each mo & deposit them....

but perhaps you want to put the normal spend on a different card....good luck...

You probably should explain why $4000 in six months is difficult. I live alone and don't have a business and still could easily meet this requirement w/o coins.

Prepay insurance, utilities, taxes, use the card for business expenses and get reimbursed (i.e. tell Bob in accounting that he can put those printers on your creditcard and cut you a check).

Most charities accept gifts by credit card. If you're planning to make donations to charities anyway, that's a good way to build up your total.

If spending $4000 in 6 months is a problem, it is hard to imagine them qualifying someone for a card.

I can do it in a day for you, and never get out of bed...

The Mrs and I racked up almost half a million miles last year from signup bonuses, all with minimum spends in the first few months. Not once did we have to do anything other than use the card(s) in question for all of our normal bills and expenses...and paying off each month, obviously.

We first started with any recurring bills being paid from the checking account and switched any and all of them to the credit card if the creditor/company accepted it. I'd bet if you just review your monthly budget you'll find it done quite easily.

Unless it's the AmEx, it's easy to pay and prepay all your utilities including electric, gas, telephone and cable etc. If you have auto deduct from checking it won't be taken out again until the prepay is exhausted.

Sooner you do your spend, sooner you get your miles.

See if you can:

pay your car insurance by credit card,

pay your monthly telephone bill,

pay your monthly cable TV bill,

go to lunch with 20 close friends and put the bill on your card and get your friends to give you the cash

You can't buy money order with the Citi-AA credit card without getting hit with cash advance. If this were possible, all of us would have jumped on it instead of dragging the coins across town.
