We will be claiming 7000 by the end of May. Since we will be buying about 10 a week, I expect to claim about another 12-13,000 by the end of the year.

I'm up to about 3,000, expect to get another 2,000 by the end of the month, and probably another 5,000 by year's end. I'm spreadsheeting how much this is costing me per mile (minus coupons of course)! Thanks again to Counsellor for the double cert and alerting us to this deal!

Addendum: I'll be mailing 7,000 miles worth tomorrow (5/29) at the P.O.--having them hand-cancel it too to ensure the postmarked deadline. Cost per mile: $0.0155

Will collect 2000 miles by the end of May (Thanks to Henwood for the double certs) and maybe another 1000 by year end. I actually don't eat Healthy Choice all that much except for their packaged deli (extremely convenient for lazy people like me). However, I have gone all out and bought their cereal, canned soups, and spaghetti sauce this past couple of weeks just to get the miles. I even walked up and down every single aisle in tbe grocery store just to find Healthy Choice label on any goods. The stuff I have bought are still on my shelf staring at me when I go home. I think I may be a little crazy! My friends certainly think I am!

I am so glad that this promotion is not available in Switzerland! (I and Gisela would be lost ...).

Don't forget that the best of this deal ends at the end of May. With the double certs you only have to buy half of what you would normally have to to get the same number of miles!

I believe that Healthy CHoice offers deli meats that you can purchase at the deli counter (not the pre-packaged stuff). I suppose you could buy single slices of say roast beef to get a UPC symbol and receipt. This is probably less expensive than the $0.50 microwave popcorn bag, although the deli counter might not be too pleased having to package each slice separately.

There is no UPC required when buying the deli meats. Only the "dated cash register receipt with the item circled". 1/4 lb. minimum purchase. Probably still a good way to go. Buy a lot of quarter pounds on one receipt.

So far I've enough UPCs for slightly over 12,000 miles! Also a pantry full of soup and a freezer full of cold cuts and Hearty Handfuls. If I find enough coupons, and enough specials, I may make the max on United (40 certificates, or 20K miles). Wouldn't that be something?

I won't have to buy soup for a year, or cold cuts for months!

wow! you guys outdid me. I'm going for 2,000 miles with doubling by May 31st and maybe another one or two thousand by year-end. Grocery store manager said that people actually do tear off the UPC symbol and leave product there when receipt is not required! can you imagine?

Well. We'll have about 14000 to 16000 with the double mile promotion by the end of May. We've got it down to about 1.25 per 100 miles. Thus about 250.00 for a 20k frequent flyer ticket, and the additional food to eat. Good thing my wife and I like the meals. Yes, I'm obsessive. She's a psychologist.

Gold medal to my wife, who's the sagacious and astute shopper.

Ralphs double coupons. Getting many of the hot pockets when they're on sale as well.

dgordon-
As of 5/10, rewardplanner had some double coupons. Check his post on the topic "HC double coupon-can't find it.
Good luck.
