I have never had any issues in getting my points posted when it came to Hilton or Starwood. For Priority Club, I always had to get in touch with the Customer Care and send countless emails before I get anything posted on my account, in spite of making all my reservations on my PC number.
i've signed up for countless promos with pc & all my points post without a problem....
with spg i always have a problem getting my plat amenity points to post....
hilton has messed up my points more times than i can remember....

then in that case i seem to be having bad luck again and again with it comes to this group. They messed up my online reservation in Paris, then a month later, a hotel in NC refused to honor the reservation I had made on the website of Holiday Inn saying that the hotel is 'not yet' a part of the group. And now, my stay on which I have spent a lot of money is not getting posted after so many days and I have not received any replies so far in response to the countless emails to customer service. I prefer to email my issues rather than picking up the phone and usually that works but now I guess I will indeed have to call them up and check out what is going on.

From my own experience, the Hilton website does not always show all hotels in a city on the reservation page. You are better off going to the "site map" at the bottom of the page and clicking on the global hotel directory and going from there.

i've never had that problem....it normally shows all the hiltons by default but if you click on 'sort by distance' on the top of the page then it will show all properties....

Your answers will be affected by the elite status of the responders. When you have elite status, you call a dedicated line and tend to get better service.
That said, they all have pros and cons. I know nothing about Priority. Starwood is great as I like the ability to transfer to airlines and to get great rates on hotels with Cash and Points. Hyatt treats its high-level elites very, very well - free breakfasts at Park Hyatts are a very, very valuable perk. Hilton treats mid-level elites very well. Marriott has never impressed me and the award levels are high for what I receive.

the only problem with hyatt is the number of properties outside the US....its very small compared to the likes of spg, hilton & pc....

Depends on where you normally go outside the US. In Asia there is quite a few of them (3 in Tokyo alone :-), moreover, they are of very high quality, much better than Hyatts in the US IMHO. But agree, it is not a program with truly global coverage, like SPG or Hilton.
