I have been to www.payUSAtax.com
Based on your User ID and posting pattern I assume you are affiliated with payUSAtax.com. Am I mistaken?

What about debit card for a flat fee of 3.95$ at www.officialpayments.com?
Remember most debit card purchases do not get points.
You have to use it as a pIN less transaction (like a credit card - for points!)

In one recent case, the IRS came and audited a client two years in a row. The trigger? The client kept a lot of cash in the bank account. So you never know when they will come or what they will do.

Continental Business Debit MasterCard
If I use my Continental Business Debit Mastercard to pay my taxes using this site, will I receive the OnePass miles? When I go through the process, I am not prompted to enter my PIN online. Therefore, for purposes of determining whether I will receive points, is this debit payment truly considered a "cash" transaction?

Similar question, anyone tried using Citibank's AA Debit card to pay your tax. No PIN is requested from payusatax.com and can we earn miles with Airlines Debit cards? payusatax.com only charges $3.89 for Debit card transaction.

It has been mentioned that the Official Payments Corp charges a flat fee of $3.95. However their website states,
The Convenience fee is 2.35% of the payment amount.
A minimum convenience fee of $3.95 applies.
To me, this means that the flat fee of $3.95 is good only for small amounts (an amount for which 2.35% of the payed amount is less than $3.95). For larger amounts, you do pay the full 2.35%??

See the Official Payments Fee Calculator here which shows that the debit card fee is $3.95 for any payment amount. Note also that Mastercard debit cards are not listed:

IF anyone has success with debit card and points with payusatax, PM me.
There was already a long thread about cards and taxes, as not being eligible.

Thanks! Interesting insight there from the former revenue agent. My job is to represent clients on the other side vs IRS, so this is good to know.

Are there cards that gives you miles/points for non-PIN Debit transactions? I imagine not, hence eliminating benefit of paying taxes via debit pin transaction, but figured I would ask.
