Co-branded luggage

Semi OMNI here....

Does anyone know or has anyone recently seen any airline (ie: AA, I know they had some out a few years ago) co-branded luggage?

I looked at several local stores, and on a couple of the internet sites (ebags.com & bagit.com) and haven't found anything...

Thanks -- burkey

Isn't "co-branded" a little stretch here? This seems like a way for manufacturers of low quality luggage to find outlets (other than Target, KMart, etc) to unload their wares. I doubt AA's luggage would hold up long enought for a traveler to qualify for AAdvantage Platinum.

The AA co-branded luggage was made by Skyway... and yes, it won't hold up to heavy-duty business travel. Which is why I now use Travelpro CrewSeries Plus for my luggage.

If I remember correctly, Travelpro does make "branded" luggage with the official airline logo embroidered, but the only way to get 'em is if you know somebody who works for the airline who can buy it for you at the employee sales store. Only ones I've seen are Southwest and Delta crew bags.

While we're on the subject, I have been very pleased with my Briggs & Reilly roll-ons and briefcase. They carry an unconditional lifetime guarantee, even for damage caused by those very careful airlines.

No, SD Flyer, I wouldn't call it that... I have some pieces of luggage that are old, were cheap, and have taken very well to airline handling. I'm not saying it was 100% top quality, and I hardly doubt an airline would liscense it's name on the bottom of the pit luggage you're speaking of.
