So, I thought I had no way to make 1K again this year due to travel cutbacks, so when the JetBlue AYCJ deal showed up, I jumped on it. Figured I'd at least get some good client meetings out of it, and maybe a couple of days in Bermuda.

Now, with DEQM through December, I'm kicking myself b/c I could have easily made 1K again. Of course, I have a ticket to JFK tomorrow on JetBlue (GRRRR!) which is costing me 10K beautiful EQMs, and which I would have to spend another $150 to cancel.

So, FTers, what would your approach be if you had $750 to spend, a great deal of schedule flexibility, and 40K miles to earn by December? Is it doable? Should I look for a single overseas MR, or try for one-day domestic turns?

There is still SIN for about $550 all in for 21,000 EQMs (42k doubled) if you can find K availability.

It seems like the OP is based out of SFO/OAK Bay Area.
The SIN runs doesn't seem to work as well on K availability out of SFO, price jumps really high even with FD (lots of sub-$600 + FD availability on L fares with a 5 day turn-around) but only around 35k EQM after DEQM.

Is it possible to use his/her B6 AYCJ pass to position for NYC and back... though I guess timing is the issue on this.

GMTA. I canceled the 2nd half of the JetBlue itinerary and bought a 1-way from JFK-SFO. A change in LAX nets me 6K miles for $120 ($.02 CPM).
