Flying out of ORD, dates are flexible, weekdays mildly preferable, would really like a same-day turnaround.

thanks in advance for any ideas

You might want to consider a quick hop to IAD or MSY. Another option is the E-Fares specials that are usually published on Tuesdays (not this week though). One of the columns is "Same-day returns" that has same-day turnarounds on Saturdays.

P.S. Just saw ORD-IAD-PIT-ORD for Nov. 15 for 1184 miles at $130. Books in L on .bomb, inventory is running out fast.

If you want to do it in one fell swoop, there is IAD to HNL for about 9644-9656 miles at $463-466. Available Nov. 15 or 20, but requires 2 night stay. A possible weekender is IAD-MUC for 8579 miles at $676, Nov. 22 to 23; pitfalls include a 55 min. cnx at MUC and a RJ ride. I'm also seeing IAD-FRA at $680, Nov. 29-30.

Otherwise, your best bet would be to do a pair of transcons. You would have to at least go to TUS or RNO, so the entire Pacific coast is yours to try (SAN, LAX, SFO, PDX, SEA).

Thanks...I'm doing my first MR. I'm doing the HNL option above next weekend with a 1 night stay and red eye back. Rough...but worth it, I guess :)

Unique Challenge

To my fellow FT-ers. I have been international this whole year, but still managed to accumualte enough miles to be a mere 2920 short of retaining my PM.
The challenge for me is that I return ot the States on the 24th of Dec. I am willing to travel any day(s) from 25th on, and I am even flexible on budget. I tried the ITA website and was not successful in finding anything.

Here are the details:

1. Need 2920 MQM (Delta metal preferably)
2. Depart and return MCI
3. Budget is flexible - reasonable - less than $500 ideally
4. Any date after 25th.

Much appreciation to any that can help. Maybe Santa will keep the lump of coal he would have left ;)

Have a $400 voucher expiring end of the year.
Need at least 2000EQM on UA MP to retain Gold next year.

Looking to do a MR leaving from PDX on Thursday night or Friday morning, returning Friday night or Sat morning (preferred). I could extend my US trip a bit if I find some interesting place to visit for a day or two....

2,400 NW EQM from DTW or FNT

I've been beating my head against the wall trying to find a good deal for my first mileage run attempt. I need 2,400 EQM on Northwest, flying out of DTW or FNT. Dates are very flexible though doing it over a weekend is preferable. Priority is keeping cost to a minimum so I'd like to avoid a hotel stay.

The "tools" thread was very helpful getting me started, but I've not been able to do better than like 8 CPM which seems poor. Can anyone help?

Thanks much,
Ben

I need ~8k MQMs on DL/NW out of ATL - not opposed to flying across the pond or anything if it makes sense. Anyone seen any good deals out of ATL?

Try something out of this thread.

Finding an interesting place at least 1000 miles away from PHX and under $400 shouldn't be too hard. Just play around with .bomb.

Looking for PDX/UA MR

I'm 8K short of 1P with six weeks and counting.
Any suggestions for United out of PDX?

Just like the above poster, you should try something out of this thread. Since you need 8000 miles though, you may need to do 2 transcons with lots of creative routing.

If money is no object, London is relatively cheap these days. Try to route yourself through LAX or SFO.

Need 12K from DFW

Anytime between Thanksgiving and end of year. Pretty flexible on dates and can spend time for overnights. Prefer under $800. Never done a MR so not sure how to go about this.

Need 4124 EQM miles on UA out of CYS or DEN

I'm an elite member, so can take advantage of the 500 mile segments. I can fly out of Cheyenne (CYS) or DEN, would prefer a single day or red eye (no hotels necessary) and would prefer to do it on Wednesday December 3 (cheaper on Wednesdays, right?). Any Wednesday would do...
Would prefer less than $300 total (am I pipe dreaming?)
THANKS!

Sorry there's some US segments, but beggars, can't be choosers, right?

12/10 DEN-CLT-PHL-JAX-IAD-DEN $222.00 4662 EQM.

I'd fire up ITA and browse for a RT to FRA, CDG, or BRU. You'll still fall short of 12k doing this, but a quick trip or so to TUL, AUS, or OKC would probably fill the gap.

The under $800 fares are hard to come by this late, BTW. You might need to stay domestic and look for some good routings (AUS-ORD-SEA, etc).

good luck!

I'm poking around looking into my first mileage run, I'm 6500 miles short of getting Elite status with Air Canada for the year and I'm looking for something that would be under $1000 that would get me over the threshold. I have tried looking around, but haven't been able to find a good option. Looking at the MR tools has me thoroughly confused about how to do it effectively as well lol

So, I need 6500 miles with AC, flying out of YYZ and hopefully for under $1,000

Any pointers are appreciated!

I apologize I don't know the earning potential of AC, but if A class earns 100%:

YYZ-YVR-HNL-YVR-YYZ on AC 12/6-12/7 for $637.88 yields 9,560 miles. You can optimize it a bit more, but that will give you a starting point.

Chris
